Originating from the province of Hainan in southern China, this special tea encompasses the youngest tea leaves from the bushes. They are then rolled in licorice root and powdered ginseng to transform into small stone-like pebbles. While brewing, they gradually unravel in the water, what is known as the "agony of the leaves." Enjoy the slight sweet notes of this green oolong tea with added antioxidant benefits of the ginseng.
Steep one teaspoon of loose tea in below boiling water, about 195°F degrees for 2-3 minutes. Re-steep the same tea leaves for a second infusion adding one extra minute.
Loose leaf tea comes packaged in a foil-lined, opaque pouch that has a resealable zip-lock to maintain freshness.
