Masala Chai Black Tea
As I've reduced my caffeine consumption recently, one cup of this is now my morning indulgence. It's warming, delicious and smooth and gives me a little energy without making me jittery. I start with one cup of this tea then switch to the rooibios chai for the rest of the day. The perfect combination for me! Can't wait for it to be back in stock!
I rarely give out 5 stars for anything, but this is one of 2 teas from TE that earn it (Cream Earl Grey is the other). This tea is one of the most well rounded chai teas I have tasted. It screams for cream & sugar, which is rare for this black tea drinker. The balance of spice is spot on. The Assam helps round out the overall flavor. If you enjoy spice & flavor you'll thank yourself for trying this tea,
My wife drinks this every morning. I keep having to place larger orders. This seems to be just the right blend of tea and spices. She said it is more flavorful than the various chais the coffee chains sell. Less money, better tea.
Every day I look forward to my cup of Masala Chai tea. It is so refreshing and delicious. Tea Embassy has the only chai that I like. I have tried to find something locally in Oregon, but there is anything comparable. It's especially delicious if you heat the milk first.
