Black River Pu-Erh
Exceptional organic Pu-Erh as it should be--sweet, bold, earthy and invigorating. This organic tea from China's Yunnan province has an extremely dark infusion, almost like coffee, and takes multiple infusions well. Enjoy the tuo cha for a four cup teapot or break a piece of it off for just one cup of tea. Pu-Erh has been drunk in China for its "slimming qualities" and helpful in digestion.
Steep 1 teaspoon of loose tea per 6-8oz of boiling water, 212°F, for 4 minutes.
Loose leaf tea comes packaged in a foil-lined, opaque pouch that has a resealable zip-lock to maintain freshness.
