Provence Rooibos
This tea is smooth and flavorful. The lavender is a pleasant and not soapy amount of the floral note, and the rose is subtle compared to the fruity notes. The fruit doesn’t make this a tart tea (like so many berry/hibiscus/rosehip teas can be). This one is perfect for gentle relaxing, but won’t knock you out if you drink it earlier in the day, either. I especially enjoy adding some honey to my cup of this blend, and I like inhaling the aroma as I drink it.
I have been a big fan of Tea Embassy's flavored rooibos products. I usually purchase Blueberry Rooibos and Peach Apricot Honeybush (my favorite), but a couple of months ago the staff put a sample of Provence Rooibos in my order. I tried it and loved it. It is light and fragrant and I drink it hot and as iced tea. It makes me happy!
I've been a big fan of rooibos tisane for a few years and I look forward to trying new flavored products. This one has an excellent fragrance and a fruity flavor. However, I think the raisins give it more punch. I drink it hot or over ice for a delicious "iced tea." Of course, without the caffeine.
So floral, so delicate, and a wonderful color to match. A subtle, tasty tea that welcomes peaceful sleep.
This is one of my favorite teas to drink when it is raining in the morning- sitting on the back porch with a blanket and a good book. It is fruity, but has a darker, gentle, mellow tone to it... its not like drinking a peach or hibiscus tea, etc. It's very comforting and lovely
