Black Currant Tea
Grapey, currant-flavored, full-bodied black tea. Makes a great iced tea as well as a great hot tea to enjoy in the afternoon.
Steep 1 teaspoon of loose leaf tea in 6-8oz of boiling water, 212°F, for 4-5 minutes.
Loose leaf tea comes packaged in a foil-lined, opaque pouch that has a resealable zip-lock to maintain freshness.
Black Currant Tea
All 3 teas I ordered are gifts for my daughter in law . They are her favorites.
Full bodied tea with a hint of sweetness from black currents. Delicious cold.
I have been drinking this for a couple of years, and enjoy both the fruity taste and the fullness that a black tea has. This is great iced as well as hot. Will be buying again soon.
When I was young, I drank a lot of Black Currant tea when I lived in the Netherlands. When I taste it, it reminds me of childhood. I've tasted several other currant types of teas, but none come close to that specific taste of my childhood tea. However, this flavor excels! I love to make a pot in the evening and reminisce. This tea doesn't need sugar to shine!
Hot or cold, it's delicious. I offer mix it with Clarksville Cordial or Austin Ambrosia.
