Japanese green teas are steamed during processing. When steamed longer, the typical astringency of sencha becomes more mild, presenting a more rounded and full-bodied flavor. This deep steam Japanese sencha is steamed about twice the usual time. It maintains all the beauty of a high grade sencha with a smooth finish. A wonderful choice for Spring or Summer tea time.

Steep one heaping teaspoon of loose leaf tea for 1 minute in below boiling water, 175°F. Resteep the same tea leaves for additional brews by adding 30 seconds each time.
