When the leaves reach the bottom of the pot, the tea is ready to drink.
American style brew: steep 1 teaspoon of loose tea per 6-8oz. of below boiling water, 180°F, for 4-7 minutes.
Gongfu style brew: steep 2 teaspoons of loose tea per 6-8oz. of below boiling water, 180°F, for 30 seconds. Re-steep consecutive times adding 30 seconds each brew.
