All In This Tea Feast
Sunday, January 20, 1:30 p.m. at the Alamo Drafthouse Downtown Ritz
$30 Includes Dim Sum Feast with Tea pairing while viewing the film

Tea Cozy Class & Knitting Group
Tuesday, January 22 & 29 (2 day series), 6:30-8:30pm
Join us for a relaxed knitting time with a cup of tea or learn how to make a tea cozy. This class may be the beginning of a knitting group which meets once a month
Basic Knitting skills required for Cozy Class—$32.00 Fee includes yarn and pattern for making cozy. Students are asked to bring circular needles US#7 and their usual knitting gear (scissors, split stitch markers, glasses, etc.) For those who want to work on their own projects—$5.00 fee for attending. Learn about the history of tea, the art of tea, how to prepare tea and the major differences between different types of tea. We have a tea tasting as part of the interactive experience to help you distinguish black teas, green teas, white teas, oolong teas, and pu-erh tea. The seminar concludes by giving guests a chance to visit with one another, while enjoying hot tea.

A Chocolate Take on Tea
Valentine's Day, Feb. 14, 1-2 p.m.
at The Tea Embassy, 9th and Rio Grande, featuring guest chocolatier Tom Pedersen, maker of the award winning Kakawa Cocoa Beans. Come experience unique and delicious chocolate infused teas, a discussion of the source, history, and trends in chocolate, and take home an inspired gift for your loved one.
No charge but reservations are requested because of limited seating.

1:00-4:00 p.m., $50 per person, (Level I required)
Learn about the stages of Tea Processing that make white, green and black teas different. Also learn about Tea and Caffeine. The seminar concludes by giving guests a chance to visit with one another, while enjoying hot tea.

Tea Embassy Celebrates Moonlight Tower with Tea & National Register of Historic Places Listing

Come Celebrate Austin’s Moonlight Towers on their official birthday May 6 at the Tea Embassy. We’ll be serving a new tea named after the historic Moon Towers, which provided the entire city with artificial light for the first time in 1895.
